We are delighted to welcome Rosemary Leith to Universal Quantum’s Advisory Board. Her extensive experience in private equity, deep-tech commercialisation and governance will be invaluable as we advance our truly modular trapped-ion quantum computing platform to systems with genuine commercial impact.

About Rosemary Leith

Rosemary began her career in private equity and has spent the past decade focusing on the commercialisation of deep-tech in fields such as AI, quantum, cryptography and robotics. She supports an ecosystem of start-ups as an investor and advisor and currently holds several prominent roles:

  • Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Risk Committee at Intermediate Capital Group plc

  • Non-Executive Director of Proton AG

  • Senior Advisor in AI research to the Oxford Ellison Institute of Technology

  • Senior Advisor to SandboxAQ

  • Advisor to Motive Partners/Ventures, a New York-based fintech private equity fund

For more than twelve years, Rosemary has been a Harvard Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center, contributing to initiatives on social media reboot and ethical AI. She co-founded the World Wide Web Foundation, chaired the Digital Advisory Board at the National Gallery, and has served on the boards of HSBC UK and YouGov plc.

With Rosemary’s guidance, Universal Quantum will further strengthen its strategic partnerships, refine its commercial roadmap and accelerate the delivery of fault-tolerant quantum solutions to market. We look forward to the insights and leadership she will bring to our mission.
