Andrew brings a distinguished background in defence, national security and strategic investment. He currently serves as CEO of Saibre Capital, a national interest investment firm, and CEO of Space4Sight, a consultancy specialising in strategic space initiatives. In addition, he is an active investor and advisor to emerging businesses across space, AI, quantum and renewable energy.
Prior to his commercial roles, Andrew served for four decades in the Royal Air Force, advancing from combat helicopter pilot to Deputy Commander of the Air Force. His other senior appointments include Director General of Global Defence Operations, Chancellor of the UK Defence Technical University, the Head of UK Military Planning and the UK Senior Advisor in the White House and Pentagon. His leadership experience spans complex global operations, defence innovation and international collaboration.
Andrew’s appointment reflects Universal Quantum’s growing role in aligning quantum innovation with strategic global priorities and national resilience initiatives.
